My friend lives in Madison which is directly behind the red petrol station and metro Hers looks nice and is quiet with good views. She can walk to my house in 10 minutes or so and has to go past the cupcake and ice cream shop hehe

Thanks for all the info. I'm flying out this weekend so will probably spend Eid looking for apartments. I will check out the Greens and Tecom as well. Does any one know of any good buildings in Tecom? Do they have cup cakes and ice cream there as well?

She wont get a 2 bed for 60k in the Greens The cheapest 2 bed i have seen ( 1 cheque) was 70k and one of the older buildings

I thought Chillax's budget was 60k? I don't think there's many 2 beds for 60k in the greens, may be better looking at Tecom just next door, or a 1 bed in the greens. You can get one for 50-60k I think still.

Hi This is what my friend said about the Greens Hey there, don’t think there’s good or bad buildings but I would suggest that she looks at pool or partial garden facing (personally I prefer pool) the best flats are 101 /102 / 103 etc.. across all of the buildings if she goes to for a two bed, I would recommend the pool facing but the ground floor ones have bigger outdoor space. Think she’ll just have to go see, tell her not to be put off by the state people leave things in, but focus on view  Hope this helps :-)
