Hi GreenQueen,

I ran a search on here and saw that you seem to have exactly the same problem as us re our Samsung TV. For the past couple of weeks its been making a clicking sound and not coming on immediately when we try to turn on the TV but it eventually turns on. Tonight it packed up altogether and not only will it not turn on but there is no red light on either indicating that power is getting to it.

You seem to have had a similar problem very recently. Could you please tell me how you went about fixing it?

Thanks so much GQ, I have tried to access that website that was posted on the other thread but it doesnt seem to be working now. We bought ours in Sharaf - I wonder would they be able to do anything about it? Otherwise will have to call Samsung. God its gonna be a nuisance trying to get it sorted - I can just see it now! :) Will let you know if I come up with anything, Thanks!

Hi LIL - hehe I've been lazy and haven't fixed it yet!! But ours is still working - it just seems to be taking longer and longer to switch on though so it's just a matter of time. If you see the link posted on the other forum, apparently it's a common problem with Samsung TVs so my plan is to call the service center and try and get them to fix it for free if possible, or if not, to just change that one part that was mentioned (sorry cannot remember what it was called). Will call them tomorrow and see what they say. Please do keep me posted if you have any success too!
