Hi,

I just read your previous post and you recommended a tailor in Sharjah. Im currently in the UK and am thinking of coming back to Dubai for wedding shopping. Do you know of any nice Pakistani shops that do bridal? Like the dresses that are in fashion now - at a reasonable price!
I've been nearly everywhere in the UK but havent even found one suit I like. Its all very tacky embroidery which isnt what I want.

Please let me know!

Normally he charges around AED 100. for adding panels it'l go upto AED 150. He is so bz that they even leave their dress materials with him and come off. He himself will design their dresses adding all the laces, panels etc. This is the only place i know of. I wish u like his work. All the best for the Preps and Wedding too :-)

Thanks Chai-Latte, Would you mind describing to me some of the design they have? :) Do they only do lengha's or do they do formal wear aswell? The things I'm looking for are good quality fabrics, cuts and design and nice embroidery detail etc. Here i've seen clothes that are so bright and heavily embroidered with crystals - that I need sunglasses to even look at them! Or i've seen gorgeous embroidery on rubbish material that is tearing in the shop. Wedding planning is stressful!

Hi There is a shop in Meena Bazaar (I know its a nightmare place but this shop is a hidden gem there) called Princess, and it does really nice wedding lenghas. I got my wedding outfits from there and a few friends came from the UK to do their shopping and also got theirs from the same place. Its reasonably priced you can get something decent for about £700 and the assistant there was very helpful. Hope this helps and Good Luck :)
