We have just used this company and NEVER again ....
total nightmare. We have such regret using them.

I realise it is potluck when it comes to local movers.
I did some research via forum and
via word of mouth, however, we have never experienced
anything quite like this lot.

Furthermore, the damage incurred could have been easily
avoided had they used some common sense.
It was all down to stupidity.
For instance,,,using table tops which were thankfully
protected by glass tops, for packing, cutting tape etc.,
All pieces used now have deep cuts and chipped glass.

Packing stacked plates with no protection, same with
mirrors. We have broken, chipped and cracked plates.
Food in jars, cans etc., were just emptied into a box
and sealed off, again, no protection.

To add insult to injury, their representative
has done nothing more than offer his two cents worth...
"you should have insurance..." was the best he could come with .
Three weeks on, we are still waiting for him to do something about
getting some sort of compensation for the more expensive items, leather
seating (lifted by the arm rest and stitching has come apart).
He does not acknowledge txt messages nor phone calls.
A real Jekyll and Hyde, fooled us completely when he came to
carry out the survey.

Anyway, the list goes on, I just wanted to share our experience
to help any other individual considering using them to think twice.

We used them about a year ago and had no problems, but I was concerned while watching them pack my crockery as they only used one piece of paper between plates etc., but nothing was broken when we unpacked. However we stored our stuff there for a while and our timber display case was eaten by some sort of insects/borers.
