Ruled out: Thailand (rainy season), African countries such as Kenya/Zanzibar/SA (vaccinations), Goa / GCC countries ..

Sri Lanka. It is not affected by the monsoon season however they do have occassional rainfalls as it is a tropical country after all. Plenty beach front chalets and self catering cottages too. Hikkaduwa area is popular with tourists as their beaches are lovely. Four hour flight only.
