Don't panic...I know it's worrying if you've never had spotting before. I certainly freaked out the first time. Never had spotting before or since but for a couple of months last year would spot for several days before my period. Just sit tight until the 7th. Highly unlikely based on your dates that you have anything to worry about.
I'd say it is way too early for implantation bleeding. It could just be spotting plain and simple. I also agree that you did not do it during your ovulatory time if you indeed have a 28 day cycle.
