DH and I are starting to discuss where to go next year for holidays.
He has to put his preference in at work soon,so here is our de lima .
He wants to do a river cruise thru Russia say in July, I saw a great cruise from Venice to Istanbul in May, but now think I would like to start to explore some safaris say in Tanzania not sure what time of year.
So anyone done any of these trips?

We did a river cruise this year on the Danube thru Austria lovely weather just felt I wanted more. Cant pin point it but bit more excitement I suppose

We've never done a river cruise through Russia but we did a cruise from Venice around the Greek Islands. It was great - one of our best holidays ever. We went in July and the weather was fine - not too hot. We've done a safari in Kenya in October. The weather was great then too. A little cold at night (but the camp we stayed in was really nice and they put hot water bottles in the beds:-)) and cool in the morning and late afternoon but not too hot during the day. I'm sure you'll have a great time whatever you do!
