Hi ladies,

Just came across this link today...apparently its guaranteed way of losing weight. Was wondering if anyone has tried these or any good alternative pills, for a healthy weight loss?

http://thedailyconsumer.net/diet/UK/?t202id=14935&t202kw=

Apparently this is known as the Acai diet

Remember not to get obsessed with weight :) http://www.onemorebite-weightloss.com/muscle-to-fat.html precisely; especially if you're weight training. Good on you, Goodmorning.

You were on a "deadline" before you move countries? ETA: I hope you're able to continue sticking with your healthy lifestyle even after the move. edited by GoodMorning on 25/01/2012 Thanks GoodMorning..my hubby is very happy to hear that I am looking after myself and is very encouraging...i plan to be with him in a few weeks once the visa is done and he has told me that we can exercise together which will be a great support...so hope to keep it all up.. Good for Xiana. by the way--um--2kg in a week is huge!!! Honestly? 40 minutes brisk walk a day is a lot. Assuming you have gone from zero walking a day to 40 minutes. You may find this hard to keep up. Weight loss happens more dramatically at first, then you will reach a plateau. What then? decrease calories? walk more? If I may be so bold as to suggest this, try taking your walking down to 30 minutes a day, and take one day ff where you do absolutely nothing. At least for now. this way, once your weight loss slows down, you have a "trick" to take out of your hat and boost your metabolic burn rate in a time of stagnancy. You brought up a great point though. daily fiber intake is essential. If you haven't been perfect with your nutrition for 6 months, chances are, you are carrying waste. especially if you intake animal protein--it's the truth. try to incorporate a psyllium husk drink before bed, daily, and yes---this will help you lose weight. They sell a product at most GNC stores here and the brand is called "Health Plus". the product is called Colon Cleanse. These are the full husks, not psyllium husk powder. By cleansing your digestive tract, you will not only rid yourself of waste, you will free up the lining of your intestines to receive the nutrients that you take in. Many ladies here have given you sound advice, and I hope you can find the ongoing support that you need--because you are looking at a beautiful journey to discovering the "you" that you are meant to be! You will be faced with challenges and times can be tough--but push through. Even professional competitive physique athletes struggle--I would know :)

is this the lady who wanted her cellulite gone before her wedding ?? anyway - in my opinion the only way to lose weight is to use more calories than you take in - simple. Healthy diet and regular exercise will see the weight come off and STAY off.. The only ppl who benefit from diet pills are those who make and sell them.. Yes...thats me ...however, after all your lovely advice, I have stuck to the realistic exercise and healthy eating regime...I have already lost 2kgs by doing so in a week and a half...this is without starving myself..so thank you to all of you for your support and for keeping me real..

You can buy Acai berry juice here anyway. Worth a try to drink I use it purely as a cleanser and energy booster.

It's a scam! They've done the page to 'look' like it's an official report: http://buyproactol.co.uk/colon-cleanse-pro-a-total-scam.html

There's no such thing as taking pills to lose weight, not in a healthy and lasting way. You've been on here several times before trying to find quick fixes to weight loss. Have you taken on the advice that you received for exercise and diet? All of these quick fixes that you want to try will only solve your problem temporarily and you will gain back the weight sooner than you lost it because your lifestyle hasn't changed with it. Hi Monkey Face...yes, i have..I have joined the bharat thakur artistic yoga classes 3x a week...also brisk walking everyday for 40 mins. Plus, I am eating healthy..So there is no harm in asking for this is it? Good for you, stick with that and you will see results, add more time every week when you're ready to push yourself further. Exercise more, eat less, don't waste your money on these silly "diet" gimmicks.

Yeah that whole 'report' is nothing but one big advert! Can you tell the difference between her before and after? There are simply NO quick fixes, all these things do is make you lose water weight and act as laxatives - they are bad. Weight loss should be slow and steady and is simply maths, calories in vs calories out - you need a calorie deficit to lose weight.
