Hi!

How far in advance does the online check in for Emirates open? Is it 24 or 48hrs?

Thanks!

I am! the early morning departure? leaves about 8am? Oh No - I am on the late night one, 11pm! I'll be on the 11pm one! Looks like quite a few of us are escaping to Thailand. :)

I've just asked DH who regularly travels with hand luggage only and he takes a razor in his bag. He also takes nail clippers but doesn't shave or cut his nails in-flight :) Glad to hear you SD - like Noddy that actually thought, grosses me out too!

Thx Noddy - you did make me laugh, yes I wasn't planning on shaving my legs midflight!!! I think I will take it and risk it, I guess on Emirates leaving DXB is the easy part, slightly more concerned about Thai Airways taking me to Phuket!

sorry, had to laugh as I doubt many ladies need to shave on a flight!! on the same subject I got a new nail clipper a few weeks ago and it was clearly stated as being flight friendly (!).....I then had to laugh imagining someone clipping their toe nails on a flight! Even the thought of someone sitting next to me clipping away at their fingernails sort of grosses me out!

Do you mean individual blades or the complete razors/heads? The washbags given to men in Business Class contain a single-piece razor so they're allowed. ETA. The restricted articles lists [i'>"Razor blades and straight razor blades"[/i'> so you'll have to leave your Sweeney Todd style blade at home :) edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 22/08/2011 Thanks - It is just a pink plastic wilkinson sword ladies razor! I also thought probably not, but thought I'd ask. Howcome though men can have them in their gift bag but we can't carry them on! Maybe if I carry on a BC men's case it will be allowed.

You can check in online between 24 hours and 90 minutes before your flight's departure time. It is a good feature since you can already choose your seats!
