Ladies,

any recommendations for a good, reasonably priced orthodontist here in dubai, that specialises in braces. They are for me, so not a child they are for an adult.

Hope you can help

Thanks

G.

I did my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Basel at Versailles Dental Clinic in DHCC. It was an advanced case so it took a little over a year and I'm not the easiest patient to deal with. But I can say in all honesty that Dr. Basel was excellent in managing my concerns, achieving my goals and most importantly dealing with my anxiety. I'm happy to recommend him. And best of all the price was very reasonable at AED 20k with monthly installments compared to other orthodontists I consulted with.

Just wanted to add an update. Dr. Nazeer is currently available for Orthodontic consultation and treatment at Orthodontix Dental Clinic near Deira City Center. My sister has finished her braces treatment and happy with the result. The clinic is neat & clean and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend him as one of the best orthodontist in Dubai!

I would like to recommend Dr. Naeem from Noa dental clinic. I consulted two other orthodontists prior to him for my daughter’s braces. Dr. Naeem was attentive to our concerns and my daughter got her braces installed without needing to have any teeth removed. She is halfway through the treatment and her teeth are looking so much better.

I wanted to go with aligners ( invisible braces ) . I went to Nicolas& ASP but they were charging 35+ for the treatment. I cudnt pay that much so one of my friend who was getting her aligner braces from Dr Karan Karla from Al Sheefa Clinic in diyafa suggested this clinic. She was getting it done for approximately 20000 dirhams. I booked a appointment there and the Dr is a sweetheart. He explained to me How my case was a little severe case so i shouldn't go for aligners and should go for conventional braces. He explained me different types of aesthetic braces, the difference between them. I went through with one of the aesthetic braces and got it done for mere 9000 dirhams ( which is a very good price) for which i paid 4500 upfront. He was very flexible with payment modules and told me that i can pay rest of the amount in 500/1000 installments as and when i please. My treatment is still goin on and i am very happy with the progress and people are hardly able to make out that i wear braces. Otherwise metal braces i think start from 6000-7000 there. Hope it helps. Hi nicolegz, Which braces treatment are you using? I want to start a treatment as soon as possible but want something that is not too visible. Tx

I had far too many consultations when I was looking, I tried Nicholas and Asp but felt I wanted a more hands on one on one ortho. My ortho Is Dr. Hakeem at Mamzar Smiles. He is truly excellent, such a nice guy and a genuis when it comes to teeth. I would 100% recommend, at least pop along for a consultation so you can see for yourself. I would say the cost is very reasonable.

I had a good experience with Dr Gun, Dr Katherine and Dr Nizar at Villa Fortuny.. it really depends on what type of treatment you are looking for, some orthodinic treatments are better suited for some and not for others. Each of the doctors mentioned specialize in different areas (I am currently pursuing the Dahl treatment with Dr Katherine).

I went to Dental Studio on Umm Al Sheif Rd in Jumeirah. Insurance covered it. Otherwise, it would cost around 26,000AED. I would recommend them because the staff is just so friendly! I don't think I would have gone for braces unless insurance definitely covered them.

Hi all, just want to share some price info I got from Nicolas&ASP. Just came back from a consultation session there. I asked for invisilign, was quote 39000 for private (actual orthodontist) and 31000 for residents (students who will be supervised by professions). Upfront payment is 15000, after that 1500 each month for both plans. There's a waiting list for residents, I was scheduled for 21st of September for the first visit.

Hi, Thanks for all your kind replies. Here are my suggestions from the huge research I put in to start with my braces treatment. For me cost and quality are priority. [b'>Step 1 : Searching for an orthodontist.[/b'> I don't want to personally recommend any clinic. Use the good old [i'>google [/i'> and research by typing "affordable orthodontist treatment in Dubai UAE" https://www.google.ae/#q=affordable+orthodontist+treatment+in+Dubai+UAE [b'>Step 2 :Find the suitable braces type needed for you[/b'> What most people don't realize is that there are many types of braces available in the markets today. They are classified into - Metal braces (normal or colored). Ceramic, Lingual, Damon, Invisalign, Incognito. All these have different cost as some of them are invisible, removable, etc., and each have different treatment duration. Again use google to research on the subject. I used the first information website I came across in google http://www.orthodontist-dubai.com to research more on the type of braces I required based on my budget. [b'>Step 3 : Choosing a good clinic.[/b'> Once you have found the suitable braces type and a dental clinic that matches your requirement based on recommendations by your friends try to find out the clinic reviews. If you find too much negative reviews or cost is too high - must avoid them. [b'>Step 4: Treatment[/b'> Once you have started off with the treatment there is no going back or changing clinics. Strictly follow up with your Orthodontist as that final result is what we all need. We don't want to waste years and end up with a worse case scenario. All the best for everyone undergoing braces treatment! You will realize your efforts put into research did not get wasted only after few months! <em>edited by ameena5 on 14/04/2015</em>

Ladies, any recommendations for a good, reasonably priced orthodontist here in dubai, that specialises in braces. They are for me, so not a child they are for an adult. Hope you can help Thanks G. Firstly, you are going to make a big decision here. I was a dental nurse for many years and worked with lots of good and bad orthodontists, go for a few opinions yes, will may spend a bit more but its is worth it, trust me. Doctors that charge less often cut corners and rush the work, when you rush ortho tx there is a risk that teeth will move back and I saw this a lot. I had my brace in my 20s and it was the best thing I ever did, had them done in London so it was costly but when you paying it off monthly you dont add it up. Make sure you see someone you like and understands what results you want achieved, you will seeing them every 4-6wks. My daughter is having her braces done with Dr Lina Papika at Dr Michaels, she is a very professional and experienced. I have recommended friends to see her and they all agreed.

Do any of you have any experience or have you heard of Dr Nazeer Ahmed at Dr Joy Dental Clinic in Mirdif? He said the cost was 16.000 for the whole treatment, 18.000 with damon system braces which he did not recommend. I am thinking of going through with the treatment with him but wanted to check if any of you have any experience or have heard of him. I have done my ceramic braces treatment with Dr Nazeer Ahmed . He was highly recommended by many of my friends and I went to him after doing my own research on google about the doctor. I was impressed with all the great reviews about him and was even more convinced when I met him during the initial consultation. The treatment duration was around a year and the result was great. I found him to be highly professional and extremely good in his work. I was also very happy with the way my queries were answered patiently, explaining each and every step of the procedure throughout the course of the entire treatment. I can confidently recommend you to start your treatment with him.

Both myself and my husband used Dr Tosun at British Dental clinic. I paid 25k and my husband 22k which was expensive but it was thoroughly worth it. We had the White brackets and people couldn't even tell we had them on at all. Both are extremely happy with the results.

DD is going through orthodontist treatment at Dr Joy. Her dentist is fabulous - Dr Shamaila. It will cost us 18000 but we went for the more expensive metal braces as they are smaller and quicker. We paid a deposit of around 2000 and now pay 1000 a month. We're very pleased because it's a difficult case and they have been wonderful with her dentist phobia.

Hi, Was the 18.000 for the whole treatment, consultation, x-rays, braces, monthly visits and retainers? Does the clinic have a website? Hello Ameena. I had my brace put on in May by Dr Anand Shenoy in Motor City (he also has a clinic in Satwa). Excuse the long winded post but this is why I would say, hands down he is the best dentist i've ever come across. When I had my first appointment I told him that I wanted them off within 16 months as I have my best friends wedding, he told me there and then that what I wanted done was a 2 year job and he can't guarantee I would be able to have them off within my dead line. Anyway, long story short I was there last week and I am getting them off in 4 months (max!) so the 2 year job is now a 10 month job. The braces I have are called Damon Braces and there are different price ranges depending on the visibility you wish. I paid 18,000 AED for the top of the range which are pretty much invisible and not many people notice I have braces unless you look really close. If I am right, they start at 8,000 AED and you pay as and when you wish ie 500 AED a month, 1000 AED a month etc. His number is 04 422 6915. That's for the Motor City branch but they will be able to connect you to the Satwa branch if that is closer to you. Good Luck - it's certainly the best thing I ever did and I am so pleased with the results so far. X

For dhs18000 you could probably just veneer a few of your crooked teeth and skip the braces altogether. Way too expensive.

hello i know this clinic "julphar implant and cosmetic dental center" but its in ras al khaimah there number is 072271999 you can check website www.julphardental.com there ortho doctors are very good Thanks. But RAK is really too far. I would be happy to get suggestions of some good affordable clinics within Dubai (or at least Sharjah). Here are my opinion of the clinics I have already browsed. Glow white dental - somewhat expensive Dr Joy Dental Clinics - Read very mixed reviews across the web and very expensive. Dr Paul Dental Clinic - Going for a consultation. Will update. My requirement is regular metal (or ceramic) braces at lowest price and nothing too fancy or those invisible ones. edited by ameena5 on 22/12/2014

Is anyone undergoing orthodontic treatment at this clinic named - Dr Joy Dental Clinic (www.drjoydentalclinic,com)? If yes - how much do they charge currently for regular metal braces? I went for a consultation few months ago but did not pursue treatment then. But when I decided to do it now, I found their quotation to be completely different and too high. I would appreciate if someone would let me know if I am paying the right amount or being ripped off by this clinic. Their online reviews seem mixed and doesn't provide helpful information. Also please share your experience and cost for ordinary metal braces at other clinics located in Dubai (or Sharjah).

I had my braces put on two months ago by Dr Tannaz at the dr Nicholas asp at healthcare city. The total is 8500dhs and monthly installments of 500dhs. I have been really pleased with them so far. Like timtam said there is no fee until you sign with them and agree your treatment plan. <em>edited by MallQueen on 25/06/2012</em>

Hi doll eyes. The 8500dhs was total for the whole treatment, including monthly visits. You can make an appointment to see them and I believe there is no charge for the initial consultation. http://www.nicolasandasp.com/hcc.html unless the system has changed, you pay 500AED per month until you have reached the total agreed charge. Thereafter you pay nothing. We have not paid nothing for a year now as DD still has braces but we had paid the full fee after 15 months (it was 7500 when we started). Another tip if you do go is to park in the underground carpark and get your carpark ticket stamped at reception as then parking is free! It took me 6 months to discover this.

Hi. I have braces at the moment. I had them fitted in the UK (before I knew I was moving to Dubai) and paid for the whole treatment upfront. That was 4,000 GBP for the Damon Clear system, top and bottom with only mild crowding on top and moderate crowding on bottom. I hope that gives you a comparison, as the 8,500 AED sounds very competitive to me. I see Dr Lina in Nicholas & Asp in the Marina who charges me 450 AED per visit (but she will also arrange a proper fixed contract). She is very good and I have seen good progress since I started seeing her. I am hoping to see my UK orthodonist when I go home next month to check that she is happy so I will update after that! Hope this is helpful.

Unfortunately reasonable priced and orthodontist don't work. As Deeva said the Nicholas & Asp trainng hospital in Healthcare city is very well priced. I didn't end up using them as the process takes a bit longer and each appointment is longer as it a teaching hospital and it wasn't near us. They were about 1/2 the price of other dentists. I think they quoted me 8500dhs Hi TimTam: that 8500aed is for the down payment or included the adjustment every month? Coz i am wearing braces now and my dentist is from my country and i'm also looking for a cheaper dentist to continue my braces. Best regards :)
