Hello there! will be arriving in Dubai August 20 :) I was told to buy a pre-paid sim card for my phone in the airport, and my question is which phone company should I go for? thanks for all your help!

I seem to remember you also need a copy of the page in your passport with the visa stamp on it.

You can easily buy sim cards in all of the shopping malls so don't worry about getting one at the airport. You will need to provide a copy of your passport to get one though ( or maybe they take other forms of ID but I remember using my passport) I have also found Etisalat has the best coverage and I am sure there is very little difference (if any) in the cost of either provider.

You only have a choice between Du and Etisalat. Etisalat were doing tourist SIMS for 75 Dhs I think it was. For me their coverage is much better, and I've had both providers.
