Hi. I haven’t tried the Real Pilates Studio but if you’re still interested in a weekend prenatal yoga class there is one on Palm Jumeirah on Sat mornings which I took up until I was 38 weeks pregnant. The instructor’s name is Shelley and she has a fantastic studio overlooking the beach. Classes are small so you get personalised attention and as such I always felt that I was doing the poses correctly and safely. Shelley also gave lots of practical advice about preparing for the birth naturally - breathing techniques etc and as I had my easiest labour yet I was very grateful to her! Her no is 0566900274.
Ooooh just realised that there is a prenatal pilates class at the Real Pilates studio in the Palm Strip mall, really close to where I live!
Would love to hear any feedback on that class too :-)
I came across a trained instructor from Bharat Thakur's classes who come home and take yoga classes. If it works for you, you can call and check with them. Let me know if you need the number. HTH
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm actually looking for somewhere around Jumeira... any ideas?
I previously went to pharaohs at Wafi. I loved it but not sure the timings will work as I now have 2 kids. Ideally I need a class on fri or sat morning :-)
Recommend Fran (yoga instructor) at Exhale in MotorCity.
Didn't do prenatal yoga with her, only normal yoga classes.
But I know she does do the prenatal classes at Motor City.
She is a wonderful lady - extremely kind, patient and really attentive to each individual. :)
i have also did mine at zen yoga! really liked it. christine was an instructor and she was pregnant at the same time... anyway, i heard tht she just started again with pre natal and post natal yoga. (it was at jumeirah brunch)
