I am relocating to Australia within the year and want to bring my fur baby who happens to be on the restricted fly list with most airlines. I have got an airline who are willing to fly her but I am so worried.

I am soooo nervous and it really has been such a hard decision to make to fly her. When we got her I had no idea that she would have problems flying should we ever have to leave.

I would love to hear from anybody who has traveled with their pug or bulldog in cargo and her your experiences and recommendations.

Thank you for your advice it is really appreciated. It is so true this particular breed of dogs is becoming more popular in Dubai as harder to fly out. Oh if only we had a pet airline this side of the world :-)

It's probably best to talk to your vet and to a good relocation company in Dubai about your pet's special needs. DKC has been doing relocations forever so they probably have moved a few pugs. ...yet another very valid point that should be mentioned when people start those "I want a cute little pug" threads. :( I hope you find the info you need to feel reassured. I hope you can get her to Aus safely. ETA - don't forget to triple check the current Aus import regulations again and be sure her vacc's & rabies test etc are all sorted now so she's ready to go. If you know when you are flying, look into booking her into your chosen quarantine facility ASAP. edited by Green-ish on 17/07/2011
