Just also wanted to mention for the payment you'll need to print the payment form and fill it out but it does say that if the payment is made by someone other than the applicant you'll need to send in copy of your passport or other photo ID. As the renewal was for my DD I sent in a photocopy of my passport just to be on the safe side.

Hi xmasbaby, this was my reply to a similar post two days ago. I tried to send you the link but can't figure out how to so I copied and pasted it: I just renewed my daughter's passport and recieved it last week. Go on the UK in UAE website, click on "passports" and click on "Regional Passport Processing Centre in Dusseldorf, Germany" which is highlighted in blue. We needed the child form, just read all the guideline notes to see which form you need to download. We were not able to fill out the form online so printed it then filled it out (I only had a B&W printer and was worried about this, but it wasn't a problem). Also print the guideline notes and follow the notes. They recommend you use DHL to send your form to Dusseldorf, which is what we did and it took just under 3 weeks to get the new passport and the old one back, though some people don't recieve them on the same day as the new one comes from the UK and all the paperwork and old passport are returned form Germany.

Xmasbaby, Yes print it and write the details. Payment is made by debit or credit card. You fill in the form that's given on the website and put in your credit/debit card details and the Passport office will take the money. The form is sent by DHL to Dusseldorf. I am unable to enter details on the online form - can I print it and write the responses? How is payment made? Where is the form sent to? Thanks in advance. We called the embassy but they told us to check the website which we have but I must be daft cause I can't find any of this information. TIA
