Hi ladies.

Where can I get my documents scanned and either sent to my e-mail box or downloaded on my memory stick in jbr area? Unfortunately I don't have a scanner at home, but sometimes I urgently need to e-mail some handwritten documents.

thank you in advance

Thank you ladies for your suggestions, I'll probably have to use all of them starting from downloading an iphone app and ending with purchasing my own scanner.

if you have an iphone download a free app which is called Turboscan , its scans just like a real scanner and you can email the documents as a PDF file , or as an image. you have the option to scan colored documents or B/W Oh that sounds interesting, will download that. Turboscan is a paid app though, Super Scan is free.

Possibly Kodak. They are on the other side of the dual carriageway, opposite Shams sector.

Desco has a 24 hour shop in CLuster F in JLT too which might be more handy for JBR I saw that yes so that's why I posted the link that has all their locations :)

I know it's not JBR but In Knowledge Village next to the food court is a copyer shop, I'm sure they can do it for you. Also there is one in TECOM, in the building on the corner of 1St al Khail and Hessa Street. The company is called DESCO, have a look at their website for more locations: http://www.descoonline.com/bindery-services-at-desco-print-centre/ Alternatively, I would invest a bit in a scanner.

Thank you, Amelton. It is a nice idea, but I need some extra high quality scans.

Hi Tory I always photograph the item using my phone, then download to the computer. Get some very good results like that and it is almost instant (or you can email direct from the phone of course). Have done this for our ID cards and documentation too. Results are accepted as a "copy" by Government departments.
