My dd is going in yr 6 been here for 4 years and never had to buy anything really other than the normal pens pencils long ruler etc. If they did need anything the teacher will let the kids know. No need to worry in primary school. The only extra was a White board marker pen.

Often the items needed for each year group are listed in the school handbook. Normally on the school website to download. The younger years are normally markers, pencil, ruler etc and then as they get older a calculator and geometry set.

Just normal stationary pens rulers pencils calculators ....all books etc are supplied at my dd school.

In the US typically schools will send out a supply list for each grade but I haven't seen anything here so far and this is our first year in Dubai. Thanks a lot!
