Having an issue with an item from Amazon UK. Long story about canceling an item, they said they had, but it has hit my SnS UK account and is now in the "forwarded to DXB" status.

Amazon are telling me to refuse the delivery by SnS and it will get returned to Amazon, but I somehow don't think that will work. From what I have found on the SnS T&C page, sounds like any item I have ordered I have to accept.

Anyone had a similar experience?

What did the delivery guy say when you refused the package? This is for a car seat, so costly to ship. Not sure if Aramex will want to take the hit on the shipping for it. It is actually Amazon's UK courier companies fault, but I guess ultimately Amazon need to pay the shipping. edited by 4princesses on 26/11/2011

Yes, I have done it. I once ordered and received an item I from Amazon.co.uk, anyway a few weeks later I got Aramex at the door with a delivery....hmm.. I looked at the envelope and it was from the same company that I had received my previous order from. It was light, and appeared to be a letter. I refused to take delivery. I then contacted the company via Amazon and asked them what they had sent me and it was an advertising letter with their special deals on! They had just sent it to my UK Amazon box no.... grrrrrrrrrrrr
