Tomorrow I´ll take my new maid to immigration office to get the work permit. As I´ll be close to SZR I´m thinking about going to the SZR office instead of the Jebel Ali one. Anybody knows where is it located?

Yep, just head straight down SZR towards the Trade Centre R/A, at the R/A take 3rd exit, drive straight and at traffic lights do a u turn and it will come up on your right, just before the metro station. HTH
