Hello ladies

Wonder if someone can help me. We have an award ceremony in December and my sister wants to get a dress made, we have picked out a style from a popular magazine but now need to find a person to make it.

Has anyone used any dressmakers/tailors here in Dubai? I am sure there is one but as its for a gala event I want to go to a place someone can recommend.

Also any idea of costings etc?

Wouldnt recommend Ann from being disappointed with my wedding dress alterations, having it given back to me with fabric pulled and grubby marks etc... and I paid a fortune. Would highly recommend Clifford in Satwa. Reasonable and exceptional quality!

Coventry Tailors in Satwa - approx 200ish aed plus fabricI would say. Dreamgirls have a good reputation but in my experience overpriced and very overrated. Not sure if Ann Rashid who is at Montexa in Satwa (behind Dreamgirls) could also help. She specialises in wedding dresses but I wsa very happy with all my alterations she did to mine and saw some lovely things that had been done by her guys. Good luck!
