Well for the third year in a row our visitors ( both teenage boy and parents ) have asked whether he could have a beer in our house and for the third year in a row we have said no - he is 16 now and still doesn't seem to have got the message - asking for one in Atlantis the other day - guess I've only got another 5 years of visits till I say yes! What do you think ? - personally I'm not going to take any risks.

I remember going to Budha Bar for the first time with my parents and a family friend (i was 17), my dad had allowed me to order a "drink" the management didn't serve it to me, so my dad got one himself and gave it to me (and a 2nd one), long story short, my dad spent the night at the police station!!

One of his parents is in the police in the Uk! - so bit annoyed - out again over the weekend and I know the question will come up again, off to Musamdam - laws the same in Oman? Erm....Police, UK? That means nothing to me. Why do you allow them to stay with you? Are you on holiday here or is this your home? Crikey. I bet they let him drink behind your back. How do they get their drinks then?

Quite honestly if someone was so disrespectful I wouldn't have them back, and I'd let them know why!

What kind of visitors to make you feel so uncomfortable. None of them can drink in your home. Legally.
