I am furnishing our holiday place and was offered TEKA white goods : dishwasher ,ceramic hob and dishwasher. I have never heard of the brand . Yes or no ?

Nooo, don't buy them, they're really bad quality. Our German friend has never even heard of it. We used to live in Jumeirah Village Triangle and all villas have Teka white goods. Our washing machine broke down 3 times, finally we got a new one from the company.. Dishwasher - was repaired twice as well - all our spoons have scratches.. :( Cooker - the button was not showing the right scale. When I showed it to the Teka guys they said I can calculate the temperature, if mark 1 is half cm upper, then add half cm to mark 5 if I need that temperature.. .. :D the only appliance we had no problem with was the fridge. Although the freezer did not shut properly. I would never buy this product, I guess people are selling to get rid of them and want to use use their own staff.

Thanks ! I am furnishing our. Holiday place in Egypt . We need all white goods and I just found someone selling teka brand on dubbizzle. I think I will buy them . The appliances do look very nicely designed but I never heard of the brand

I have Teka stuff. They are German and have a showroom in Garhoud, I believe. It is supposed to be top-of-the line. My appliances are all black, though.
