People pay good money to make them that noisy....it makes sense to show them off in an area where they will be most appreciated by the maximum number of people in the shortest possible time ;) OK, perhaps you can understand the young bucks who want to stay up late and are maybe having their time. But what about the 50 something Hells Angels wannabees with big tummies and swearing German helmets on. Seriously men!!?

They drill out the baffles in the exhaust pipes so the noise isn't dampened. Personally I love the sound of loud motobikes but wouldn't like them outside my house every night so I can understand where you're coming from on that.
