Urgent advice please.

My 3 yr old nephew came back from wild wadi water park with blisters on all his toes. Poor baby.

Never known this to happen.

What do we do....?

Trying to google it right now, but don't have a clue.

Advice please. Appreciate it.

Unfortunately the ground at the water parks has a gritty texture to stop slipping but my kids' feet always end up shredded at the end of a day at Wild Wadi. I would try not to cover the blisters as more rubbing might burst them and I sometimes put Hypercal on them if the skin is broken - this is a herbal cream which I've used for years for any cuts, sores, grazes etc. For little kids of that age I'd buy little pool shoes which have a rubber sole and then are elasticated round the ankle to keep them on. You can usually buy them in any beach/swimsuit store. Hope his feet are ok.

Was he swimming without pool shoes or socks? It could be friction from the concrete surface of the pool if he was floating maybe in a life jacket and rubbing his feet along the bottom of the pool. If the skin is open put an antiseptic dressing on it, if not leave it in the open air to dry naturally and don't burst it and tell his mother to get him some pool swim shoes for next time as a precaution. hth Thanks so much, didn't even know there was such a thing as pool shoes/socks. Its not burst, but just concerned how he'll walk tomorrow. Do you suggest just leaving his feet sandal free?
