Thank you! We hope we find apt. in Seef or Tamweel..... I like them, we viewed one last year...they let more light in then ours in Green Lakes which is pretty dark...Let's hope that this time we have more luck with the LL and it will not be sold after 1 year ......

Hi Mandarine, I live in the Tamweel Towers (cluster U) of the JLT right next to the Dubai Marina Metro station. I love this building - the maintenance and security service is great. The shared facilities (pool, gym, lobby) are very clean. We have a little covered playground beside the building. Plus the unit layouts are very generous (I'm in a two bedroom unit that is over 2000 SF). I will be moving out by July 1 and my landlord is looking for a new tenant. Let me know if you're interested. I would highly recommend this building and am sad to leave. Good luck with the upcoming move. Iman Is your LL still searching for a new tenant? Has your Apt. maidsroom? which view? We would need a maid for storage! Hi Mandarine, I'm sorry but our we helped our LL find a new tenant within 24 hours of giving notice. These 2BR units in the Tamweel and Seef Towers go pretty quickly!! They are really well laid out and quite large. We had a lake view but many units have sea view. Good luck with the house hunt. Iman

it is really surprising how many others here in Dubai have to move so often...just would like to know why.?? Is it just the area JLT and Marina - that LL see it just as 'short time' investment'. Why are so many LL selling after a short periode

yes, its very early. My experience in Dubai is that places are often available either immediately or within a few weeks. We need to move end of June and will only start viewing this weekend.

thanks for the replies. As lease ends 1/9/2012 I guess it is too early to start viewing? My boss said end of july would be enough as we want to move somewhere in August. But for sure we will look out for your recommendations!

My friend is leaving a 2 bed in Lake View Tower JLT now, well maintained and near the metro. Let me know if you would like the landlord's contact details, it will be available in about a week.

Hi, we live in a 3 bed in Silverene (right next to Marina Mall and JLT metro). Its an amazing apartment with stunning marina views and there is a carrefour market, pharmacy and laundry downstairs as well. We need to move to Abu Dhabi so will be vacating soon. If you're interested in viewing it contact Imre Solt at Propsquare. His email is imre at propsquare dot com. There is an advert on dubizzle and you can google the office number :)

Have a look at Trident buildings - I have a friend in Marinascape, v. close to metro on marina side, and Bayside too, both nice, quite new, but v. expensive IMHO - reckon on 150,000 pa for 2 bed plus maid, but that does include aircon chiller. No cockroaches though :)
