I would definitely start looking now, figure out which area/building you prefer, check out all the layouts available and decide which one/s you would like and get an idea of the price... also if you look now some agents will arrange for you to sign up for it now and get all the paperwork done but not have the lease start until 2 weeks or even a month later. I think agents like it when people need a place right now rather than have time because they can put more pressure on you to pay higher rates... also put an ad on dubizzle in the wanted section. good luck

What areas are you looking at? I'd start now if I was you. Make yourself totally familiar with what is out there so you know when a deal is good or not. Also, sometimes there are a few bumps along the way with dodgy agent etc. so best get in early. We found our new place 3 weeks before we wanted to actually move in. We payed a security deposit and the LL agreed. Guess it depends on the area, although, this is in the Ranches where I am led to believe properties are flying... So who knows I guess. Happy hunting.

I'd start looking now just lie to the agents say your moving soon as, just so u know what type of villa u want and it what area etc and get some numbers of nice agents.... I'd say as soon as Ramadan is over start searching as youll know what u want and where and how much they go for u ll be ready to start to negotiate with the LL. Good luck stressful time moving is....

For a rental property ie viewings etc ? We have lived in company accomodation for last 4 years so this will be our first time leasing here. We are looking to move by end of September... Some have said not to look until a few weeks before we can move as agents wont entertain us? TIA
