I actually have three Fine Dining books and have found that one or two restaurants may not want to take the wine voucher and food voucher at the same time. If they refuse to take both, ask to see the manager and stand your ground. Point out that the book does not say that they cannot be used together. They usually give in. Have also found that some don't want to take the maximum number of vouchers (4) when you wish to use that many. We even took to carrying the relevant page out of the book to show that we could use that many. When they agree to have vouchers in whichever book, they also agree to the rules.

judxb, just checked and its the page before the actual tear out vouchers start. so middle of book. There is also a free pack of 6 lagers when you buy a case at any African and Eastern ( but you need booze licence) The wine is Monkey Bay...we have used the wine voucher and a food voucher at the same time at Blue Orange (Westin) and Dante ( Grand Milenium) and had no problems using both vouchers at the same time! edited by Hotpot on 22/08/2011

I have got the family book, fine dining and the body book as I knew I would save money on the first voucher I used from each book. With the fine dining book you get a free bottle of wine voucher to use at any of the listed resturants on the back of it.....the bottle of wine is worth more then the book!

I have 2 kids that's why I thought about the kids book but didn't know if it was worth it Definitely, you will pay for the book after the first few times you use it! Can't recommend it enough. I actually met my DH through this book, he started asked me out on dates and we used the 2 4 1 vouchers to try new places in eat in DXB!

we are a small family and found the Family entertainer very good value for money. You get the two large volumes which contain vouchers in sections according to kids activities, casual dining and takeaway, cafes and nightspots (useful for family days out and also going out as a couple or with friends), a handful of brunch vouchers, then a whole volume on restaurants and eateries. By the time we'd had the book a fortnight and used just a few vouchers, we had already recovered the cost of the book. I'm definitely going to get it next year. Once you get the book, you can register with the entertainer website and you get monthly special offers as well, which you print off. Makes getting out and about quite affordable.

I have the Fine Dining and also the Family one. As a couple we tend to use the Fine Dining one more, but there are lots of useful vouchers in both of them and it is very easy to recoup the cost of either. You only need to use the wine voucher and a meal voucher from the Fine Dining and you have covered the cost. The Family one has plenty of 'ordinary' places to eat as well as coffee shops, pizza vouchers, etc. Have never bought the other ones so can't comment on them.

Well I guess it depends on:- do you have kids, do you have friends to use the treatments with, do you like romantic nights out with DH??
