We have been called in for the admission procedure for FS1 for our DD.
Will she have an interview or a placement test for the FS1 level.
and what should I prepare her in? .....is it numbers, colors, nursery rhymes??
arent they supposed to be taught all of that at school?
She is a shy child, Iam really not sure what to expect.
Can someone guide me.

All they are interested in is if the child is normal, he or she can understand, follow instructions etc etc. So i think no need to worry about that.

Hi there I really wouldnt get too stressed out about it, at this age the schools are generally looking for their readiness to join a full time curriculum as some children may benefit from an extra year in nursery for various reasons. They probably will look at number, letter, shape and colour recognition but really this is only to give an indication of where the child is at currently. Dont worry too much that she is shy, mention it to the school at the assessment, remember children behave very differently when the parents are not there, I am sure she will be fine. In my experience (4 years in Admissions in Dubai) there are very few children who will not repsond at all. Good luchk and dont pass any stressy feelings on to your child just tell her she is going to see the new school.
