Hi Guinness,
Could you please let me know more details about the pump you are selling and the price. Please reply here or email me on tanyadhall at gmail dot com
Thanks!
Tanya
@ meals I will read up on the double pump...thank you!
@spamm the hospital grade pumps are rather noisy and bulky...I want something compact which I can use anywhere..
@guinness is this the double electric? what price? I am def interested!
@kiwispiers I have a lot of extra bottles from medela..hence am very inclined to try the second hand option..massive cost difference as well!
Thank you for your inputs ladies :)
Hi Tanya, I have a medala pump n style for sale if you're interested. It's mobile which means you can even use at work, which I used to do for DD1. Email me at lama dot cookson at gmail dot com, if interested. I also have new tubing (never opened) available to go with plus extra bottles/funnels etc, but you would need to pick those up when I'm done pumping in about a month from now. Regardless whether you decide on the pump n style or not, those are free if you want them.
However, if it were up to me and cost was not a factor, I would go with the freestyle, because it means you can pump anywhere and everywhere, and whilst doing odd jobs around the house and holding your LO. It may seem not important now, but as they get older they get more demanding and want more of your time, so it becomes harder to pump sat away from them when they demand so much of your time, wanting to be held, etc. The good news I found however is that once supply is established I didn't have to pump as frequently, and I was able to drop the middle of the night pumps. The freestyle is also good because like the pump n style they are mobile and can be taken to work. If your planning on pumping at work then the pump n style and the freestyle are really your only two options.

If you buy a second hand pump you can just buy new tubing and bottle parts so there will be no hygiene issues as the only "used" part is the motor. If I had realised that before owning a pump I would def have bought second hand and gone for a double pump. You can buy new membranes too.
I have the double medela, which you can have if you want since I'm finished! It was used for just a few months ... Just come collect in the Meadows and it's yours.
Hello Ladies,
I have a 7 week old and i exclusively pump for her as she was never able to latch on..I used a Medela Harmony but the membrane has already worn out :( and am using another Medela manual pump now.
I am looking to go back to work in the next 3 weeks and want to switch to an electric pump. I have read some great reviews for Medela Freestyle and Medela Swing...but am confused which one to buy...I need something that can be used daily.
Also if any of you ladies are looking to sell either of these pumps please do let me know...thanks!
Tanya
