If you are concerned about your child's fluoride intake I would speak to her pediatrician about supplementing fluoride. Nestle water is also with added fluoride. I would not give her adult toothpaste. Too much fluoride is also not good for kids. In some countries where fluoride is added to the water by default there are cases of fluoride overdose, where the kids have white spots on their teeth, because flouride is not only found in the water, but added to table salt and other food, so I would first check with your doctor if extra fluoride is really necessary.

Arwa has some fluoride in it (<0.1 mg/l) and seems to be the most popular for babies/toddlers due to the low sodium content.

My husband is concerned that our toddler isn't getting proper dental care because she may not be exposed to enough fluoride. We use baby toothpaste (the kind without any fluoride) and she drinks Masafi bottled water. Should I provide her with some kind of fluoride supplement? He thinks she should just use our grown-up toothpaste, but I don't want her to get TOO much fluoride, as she's still swallowing every bit that goes in her mouth. Thanks for help edited by bananas on 14/03/2012
