hi there
we have 2 weeks touring the UK with our toddler in June staying at different B and Bs, hotels etc.
not all places are likely to have high chairs - would anyone recommend a travel highchair? if so any particular brand?
or maybe i'm over-thinking it and will have to improvise?

Sorry ladies we got it in the states, but you could shop and ship or order it online and have it sent to the hotel where you ate going. It says it fits up to 2 yrs but a frind with a 26 month old used it at my place and thought it was fab. Much better than the fabric ones I've seen as you can wipe it and it's really secure. I've forgotten the brand of the bath and it's not written on it. But it's got sesame street characters all over it. Any brand would be fine. I started looking for one after I was using a tiny inflatable paddling pond in my mums big bath at home. I think they are light, fab, cheap and you can use them anywhere. Defininately on my recommendation list for new mums. Wish I'd had mine sooner.

Highly recommend the Phil and teds wiggle wrapper. It was fab to strap them either to yourself for take off and landing, to the chair on the plane to use the tray table to eat or to a chair in a restaurant. We just used it for a three week trip around the states and LOVE it. FD, where did you buy the wrapper? Will it be suitable for an older toddler (17mths) to be strapped to me?

Ps forgot to add we loved (and so did our LO) his inflatable bath. They are cheap, really easy to carry and kept him in his bedtime routine if there was only a shower. We actually use it most of the time at home now, as it's so easy and quick to fill. He also loves it withan inch of water in it and some plastic cups for playtime.... Just a thought :)

We've used something like this before. Very light and zips up to a carry bag: http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_35_10751_-1_14635_111938_10001_14633 Or i just sit DD on my lap and we eat together.
