2blossom and plumie you made me feel much better, sorry i dont mean that in a bad way! lol...I'm glad! I forgot anxiety attack & crying at the drop of a hat as well! Felt like I was always complaining about something. Good thing was, labour was much easier than having to deal with all the symptoms!

Morning sickness until 16 weeks Food aversions - hated the smell of meat cooking! Nasal congestion Swollen feet towards the end Insomnia UTI Headaches Sciatica Back pain Contracted muscles pinching nerve in groin, walking in the last few weeks of pregnancy was too painful & felt like someone was stabbing me in the groin with a knife! A very 'small' part of me misses being pregnant though!

When I was pregnant I had a lot of what has been listed here. I got cold after cold for the first trimester. I read somewhere that where your body is adapting to allow the baby to grow your blood vessels expand, hence the reason for nasal problems and carpal tunnel syndrome. My CTS got so bad from 6/7 months I had to sleep with wrist splints on which were also uncomfortable but it was better than not having them. My feet used to swell like balloons! And the indigestion was incredible but my baby girl has a great head of hair! Curries and spicy food used to cause all kinds of problems. What fun it was!!

about the nasal problems..... I don't want to scare you but how is your A/C and A/C filters? Have they been cleaned or checked for mould? I had the same probs whilst in UK for the past 2 months so the AC may not be a contributing factor edited by swarovski on 01/08/2011

natural yes, lovely at times yes, effortless? Never met a woman in the later stages of pregnancy that would describe it as so. My SIL theorises it is to help stop you from freaking out about the birth, you become so keen to get the baby out regardless of how you have do it! I tend to agree.

I was hoping somebody could have out done my list! seriously i am trying to not let it wear me down, I realise pregnancy is the most natural thing in the world and some people make it look effortless.. I must be sooo abnormal. At the moment I am sleeping around 4 hours at night due to the mucus prob's, have cut down on the dairy etc and currently seeing an ENT at City who has prescribed me nasal steroids but its not really doing much :( ps forgot to mention the Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Reflux, thanks kiwiwispers edited by swarovski on 01/08/2011

You sound a bit like me during my pregnancy!! How many weeks are you? I was lucky enough not to suffer from morning sickness but I did end up with headaches quite often. The best thing I found to do is drink a lot of water as I found mine were largely caused from dehydration. Around my fourth month, I had a cold which I just couldn't shake and ended up with both a throat and sinus infection. It took longer to go as I tried to avoid taking medications. I was admitted to Al Wasl (with DVT) and on the first visit they discovered I had a urinary tract infection. The doctors told me they are very common during pregnancy (I've never had one before, but I had no symptoms during this one but rather what I was experiencing was from the DVT in my pelvis instead!) I found that eating smaller healthier (well tried anyway) snacks/meals throughout the day, made me feel a lot better. For the sinuses, try to cut down on the dairy as dairy products makes it worse (cheese, icecream, milk). I took calcuim tablets towards the end (mainly because of the injections that I have to take and also as dairy makes may sinuses really bad). I hope things start to get better for you! Make sure you get lots of rest and look after yourself x edited by suznz on 31/07/2011

Morning Sickness Headaches Nasal Congestion/very bad sinus's Chronic Throat Mucus Ear Infection Throat Infection Urine Infection Anxiety Low Blood Pressure and Palpatations Phew! have I missed anything?! Wow that is one heck of a list!! Makes me realise how luck I was. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 14 weeks and the only reason I found out was because my skin broke out. The only things I was able to complain about for the rest of my pregnancy was going off tea, leg cramps and heartburn. After reading your list I feel awful having complained at all. Hope you don't have any more symptoms
