As the New Year is set in the winter of the UAE
The weather is expected to get cooler this month, so much so that fog and mist are starting to form in some parts of the UAE.
While some parts of the UAE recording very low temperatures – Raknah recorded 8.5 C at 6:45 am.
The National Centre of Meteorology has warned the public to take caution of the increase in fog formation and poor visibility during the late nights and early mornings.

Fog in the UAE can reduce horizontal visibility on the roads and can be less than 1,000 metres this weekend over coastal and internal areas of the country.
The NCM also warns that the fog may continue over the weekend with some humidity at night.
And Abu Dhabi Police took to Twitter to warn motorists on the road to take precaution when driving through intense fog.
