There's Still Time to Register for This Year's du Tough Mudder

Dubbed as 'probably' the toughest event on the planet, the du Tough Mudder is returning to Dubai for its 2017 edition.

The mud and obstacle course is designed to test your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit, and is located at the grounds of the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai.

Luckily, interested and wannabe 'Mudders' still have time to sign up for the event happening on December 8th - 9th.

An obstacle course like no other

The du Tough Mudder event is a team-orientated challenge with no winners, finisher medals or clocks to race against. Participants simply join friends on a life-changing adventure where 'what you accomplish is almost as tough as who you are'.

The course itself will be made up of sand dunes, water and of course, the du Tough Mudder obstacles - all located in a testing desert terrain against the backdrop of Dubai's skyline in the grounds of the Hamdan Sports Complex.

And here's just a short glimpse of what participants can expect to face at this year's event...

There's also a 1.5km obstacle course designed for the adventure seeking kids in your life. The course will give kids chance to work as a team, get muddy and experience the thrill of adventure. Kids must be between 7 to 13 years old, and at least 42 inches tall.

Where can I sign up?

Tickets are still on sale so you haven't missed your chance to participate, just head to the du Tough Mudder website to buy your tickets. It's AED 450 for a single, standard registration ticket (including taxes), which includes a du Tough Mudder ticket, headband, performance finisher tee and post-race refreshments.

For AED 550, the bravest among you can sign up to be part of the 'Special Ops' package, which includes all standard items, plus VIP parking, a du Tough Mudder drawstring bag, a du Tough Mudder wristband and a complimentary spectactor ticket.

If you're simply there to watch and cheer on, spectactor tickets are available to be purchased for AED 40 per person. Spectactors under 13 can enter for free.
