I am just back from wandering the streets of Sharjah, and of course, not a single box of Cerazette can be found anywhere. I have one pill left for today and then no other choice but to come off it.

Does anyone know if anywhere in Dubai is back in stock yet?

yes, they are very expensive in Germany too- my sister cannot get any without prescription so she can't help. Think I have scored a packet, but if that does not work out we can look into the NZ route- many thanks for the offer!!!:)

Another thought, when I was living in Bahrain, I was able to get this at any pharmacy....... you could call them? Or even take a day trip? but if I am allowed to post the pills I am happy too. was very cheap too, compared to here. Like 10times the price! Same thing happened to me, I called my doctor at DLC Fest City and she gave my an injection with the same ingredients as the Cerazette, lasts for 3 months! Yes the depo. Only issue is it can take months for your body to return to normal once you stop having the injections. Thanks for this info, what do you mean by "return to normal"?

I have also completely run out.. switched back to yasmin now as I don't know any of the others at the pharmacy, and the pharmacists are as useless as #%^& on my forehead.. so, does anyone know why the severe shortage??? Be careful on Yasmine, (I was on this, caused me Mirgranes) they have just recently done a study here (NZ) and the Drospirenone in it doubles the chances of blood colts. Be careful with this pill. It causes you to loose your hair. I have now switched to a different pill (2 months ago) and some new hair growth. So, if you are experiencing hair loss in dubai, before careful with this one!

I know that some months back there was a manufacturing problem which caused a worldwide shortage, but that was remedied, so no idea why they are not coming back into Dubai...

I've tried everywhere, even the tiny pharmacies in Deira! Currently trying plces in Oman and Qatar, I think someone suggested trying those but no luck so far! I got the last 2 packs from the pharmacy on the palm 2 months ago but now running dangerously low again :(
