Yes, definitely get them attested. I was under my husband's sponsorship but still needed to provide my attested degree certificate in order for the company to process my labour card.

If you have a degree then I would get the certificate attested anyway, just in case. It is much easier to get it done before you come than while you are here IMO.

It really depends what you want on your labour card I think. I didn't have my degree attested, but my job didn't care. It is just for your job title/distinction says on your labour card. Also depends on if your job wants it or not.
