Anyone have an opinion on this case? I watched a 20/20 documentary on it last night, she did act so strangely immediately after the murder, turning cartwheels etc... But she really was treated badly. A policeman apparently posed as a doctor when she was initially charged and told her she had HIV and asked her to list all previous partners to get dirt on her, and this was used in court to show bad character.
Obviously we all want the truth, but it is such a strange case. Thoughts?

Interesting that a girl who was doing cartwheels in the police station the day after the murder, the girl who pulled faces when being asked about Meredith, the girl who said she heard screams then changed that to not being there, the girl who blamed an innocent man, the same girl who said she was ''good friends'' with Meredith is released. I don't think it was her innocence - it was the police who severely messed up. I believe she was involved in some way and I felt quite sick reading all the tweets last night and seeing the TV. Meredith Kercher is the true victim here and it's a shame HER family weren't given a private jet home by an American like they did for the Knox family.

I doubt money had anything to do with it. If they dont have enough evidence which they have already said they dont, and all the stuff that was done wrong, then they cannot convict her. Unless of course someone paid off the jury...

And the verdict is in. Her sentence is upheld. Same for the guy involved. Apparently that was for slander and for which she has now spent the time. "In the latest verdict, the judge Claudio Pratillo Hellman upheld her conviction on a charge of slander for accusing bar owner Diya "Patrick" Lumumba of carrying out the killing. He set the sentence at three years, meaning for time served. Mr Sollecito, 27, had been serving 25 years in jail over the killing of Miss Kercher".

I've no idea if she's guilty or not, though my gut says she is, I think only because of her laying the blame at the door of the chap who turned out to be the only one to have a solid alibi.
