Try soaking the area in milk.

Stain removers which work for me on different things are the Dr Beckmans range, Shout (the one with the brush on top) and rather than bleach I put whites in Napisan and White Brite quite regularly - same effect, much gentler on clothes.

Put hairspray on the biro stains and they will just miraculously lift off. Spray quite a lot right on the stain itself.

My son's gleaming white school shirts are already covered in blue biro and ink stains, as well as yellowish suncream stains on the collar. Nothing I've tried seems to work so far and I really don't want to have to bleach his shirts after every wash. Can you please help me????
