Have licence but when we tried to use it today in Ibn Battuta MMI were told it wasn't valid in Dubai, only Abu Dhabi. We did get it from Abu Dhabi as thats where our residents visa is. What we do do next ??

Just remember that moving alcohol across borders is illegal. With or without license. That will never stop the Barracuda run ;) Until we hear the sad sad story of a British woman in a Shj jail awaiting lashes.....all because her Dh sent her down there after the school run when the roads are quiet....then everyone will be screaming about not knowing blah blah Really VP? Oh lordy.

Yep it's only valid in AD. You need a DXB one if you want to use it here but don't know if your allowed two. You need a NOC letter from AD police to get a DXB license.
