Hi ladies,

I am in a desperate need for a nutritionist..no matter what and when I eat, I feel weak and like fainting...thought maybe a nutritionist can help me see what is really wrong with my diet if it is the problem.

TIA

we get vitamin D from the sun. its absorbed via our skin. What did I say that implied I dont know what vitamin d is!!! Anyway, thanks! :) I think Izzy was pointing out that ladies who cover and show little or no skin, as is the case with many ladies in this region, often do not absorb the required amount of vitamin D.

Are you deficient in vitamin D - surprisingly a lot of people, especially those that cover have this and it can cause tiredness. I dont think so, I mean the last test i had didnot show any vitamine D problem, however iron deficiency has always been an issue to me. BTW what do you mean by "those that cover"? I didnot get you! :P So why not just go to the pharmacy and pick up some Iron pills? Seriously not having a go, just try it....and perhaps a good multi B vitamin pill at the same time?

there are a few. One I know of is Kathleen Farren - she does some sort of a session once in a while in the organic cafe - I remember reading about this on one of their newsletters via email. google her and see what you get - she is patrick holford trained and I have seen her before. good. can only think otherwise that I think there is one at the osteopathic health centre on al wasl after choitrams...close to police college end of al wasl.

Did she have to have a special diet also?

My sister had the same problem. It turned out that her iron levels were to low.

I kind of know the reason. I only need a specialist opinion on how to manage my diet.

Have you been to the doctor to rule out other possibilities?
