I received an EMAAR Gift card as a gift...
In two separate attempts to use the card in the Dubai Marina Mall and several merchants who are on the "approved" list to accept the card, I have been unable to spend the money.
Many excuses have been given; machines are not connected, no training on how to use the card and the EMAAR system must be down. But the fact remains... there was no issue taking the money to pay for the giftcard. However, to redeem the card seems impossible.
P.S. They do NOT give refunds. EMAAR suggests using the card in Dubai Mall. Hmmmmm, has anyone successfully used their EMAAR Gift Card? If so, where?
