would you consider living at the villa in a vallencia type 2 - are they nice to live it if anyone knows who is living in one. has anything been done to improve the community. are there any for rent with swimming pools ( not interested in mazayas ) needs to be 5-6 bed villa.
how easy are taxis to get if you need one for work at all hours of day or night to go to airport.
how long does it take to get to the airport. many thanks.

We live in a Valencia, for nearly 2 years our ll has put a pool in for us. We love it except it's the worst built house I've ever lived in, in Dubai. The courtyard in the middle of the house is annoying now ...and what with the windows and doors not installed properly and lots of gaps it gets extremely hot in the summer and big ac charges. Have u looked at falcon city a fiend owns one and they are built alot better than the Dubai property ones here.

We've been leaving in The Villa for over 18 months and we can get taxis very easily, most are stationed in Arabian Ranches / Global Village and come within 15 minutes. Check the forum as there are a couple of villas advertised by owners direct there. thevilladubai.webs.com

Have been looking at The Villa last month. Only the Mazaya Villa's have swimming pools. They are named A, B, C (C has 6 bedrooms). The others, Valencia, Cordoba, Marbella etc. do not have pools, unless the owner has put one in. In most cases however the owner lives in it. While I was looking, there were no Valencia's with pools for rent. It takes only 20 minutes to go to the airport, but I have been there on at least 6 occasions (all hours) and never saw any taxis. Some parts, especially Ponderosa, are quite nice and green already, but it will take years before there are community facilities or pools. All in all, especially with the high rents of the larger Villas (over 220.000AED) we have decided not to move there.
