Does anyone know whether the children are meant to be out playing and doing PE at school in this weather? There's sports day coming up, DD meant to have PE today.

I asked the teacher to keep DD inside the classroom as she suffers from severe asthma. She's been feeling unwell with a non-stop coughing from this dust-sandy storm for 2 days now. edited by Paris6 on 02/02/2011

I went swimming this morning and the life guard at my local pool was wearing a face mask, I thought it rather odd at the time but now I understand his concerns, I am staying inside as much as possible from now until the air clears!!!

It's very bad to be out in this and i'll never understand why some schools here don't realise it and keep the children in like they do in many other ME countries! edited by SarkySue62 on 02/02/2011
