Has anyone had any issues with flying? I am 24 weeks pregnant.

My last pregnancy I flew quite frequently & right up to 30 weeks, for the last month I carried a letter from my midwife saying I was having a healthy pregnancy & she had no objections to me flying. And this pregnancy I will still be flying at about 28 weeks. Just be sure to get up & move about if it's long haul & hydrate hydrate hydrate! Enjoy!

Hi Samie10, I've also flown a couple of different times during pregnancy, the last about 24 weeks as well and it was great! You're at the point in the pregnancy where you (fingers crossed) are past the morning sickness, but you're tummy also isn't huge. ;) I really enjoyed flying during my second trimester, the first trimester - not so much. Have a great trip!

No I've flown several times in both my pregnancies and it was fine. Airlines require you to have a letter issued by your doctor dated within one week of travel to verify that you are fit for travelling. I think the letter is needed from 28 weeks, but if your stomach is big or anyone questions you, then it would be better to have the letter on hand anyways.
