Hi i have pack of CLOMID i got 3 weeks back,didnt need it as i got pregnant before using it...anyone whose TTC and use clomid can pick it up... thompson1, you deff have to see the dr! They should confirm your diagnosis and check hormonal levels. I have been diagnosed with pcos recently right after 5 months of ttc (after BCP). now i am currently taking dufaston to regulate P, but randomly will start with chlomid - maybe when my DH will have travel-free month. Dr said after you start chlomid - is best to do ultrasound in the middle of the cycle - so obviously it is not advisable to take chlomid without prescription. Soniaiq, congrats! So happy for you! for how long you have been ttc?

yes u need to see a doc first...coz this is my second one i am polycystic so had difficulty in getting pregnant.But thankfully have been getting my periods for the past 10 months but still couldnt get pregnant...2 weeks ago i saw my gynec and she did an internal scan and she said she couldnt make out anything now, gave me duphaston coz my last month period came 10 days late so she gave me duphaston saying taking this for 7 days would bring back my period on the next days after stopping the tab,she had put me on metformin and folic acid for 3 months now...for PCOS. And also asked me to take clomid from the second day of periods... Duphaston give u periods soon after u stop it if u are not already pregnant and if pregnant it will support pregnancy...so with me i waited for 6 days after duphaston without a periods and then decided to speak to my doc she asked me to get a home pregnancy test and it turned out to be positive i never got to take the clomid,my doc said clomid makes the egg bigger so more chances of concieving but definitely this has to be taken after consultation with doc.
