Hi ladies.

As the title says, I'm really sick of my Quinny Buzz 3. So this might serve as a warning for other first time moms who like me was charmed by the looks of the Buzz. It's bulky and heavy it occupies the whole boot of the car. The front wheel keeps getting stuck!!! The seat material makes my DS really sweaty. Well of course there are advantages as well, but in my opinion there are more cons than pros.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.. So my question is for the other moms who gave up on their buzz (if there's any) which stroller did you get as replacement? I'm looking for something lighter and simpler this time. Thank you in advance.

Again, thank you ladies for the feedback. I really appreciate them. Finally got the Bugaboo Bee!!! I love it and I regret not buying it before. I just think the seat is too low? Or maybe it's just me lol. Taurusbaby - Do you still have the Luna? I know someone who's looking for a lightweight stroller too. If you read this please let me know so I can post my email ad or something. Thanks x Hi. Yes I still have it. Send me her details or ask her to contact me

I have the bugaboo bee and have been using from birth of my DS and I absolutely LOVE it. Maybe it feels low if you had a higher buggy before. Enjoy using it and will last for ages ?

Maclaren all the way. I had a Buzz and used it with the Maxi Cosi carseat for a longtime as I was traveling around in taxis. BUT as soon as I could, I got a Maclaren Triumph. I absolutely love my stroller - it is very light and handy, comfortable, reclines almost fully *and* is very robust. Absolutely no issues with it in over 3 years. In fact I'm using it with ds now even though it is bright pink as I just don't see any point in buying another one (and he doesn't mind the colour).

I bought the mamas and papas zoom which is similar to the sola but its a 3 wheeler, it's very lightweight and compact when folded so its worth a look I'd say.

PB I have a brand new mamas and papas Luna still in the box. Got it as a gift but have my bee already so don't need it. Don't know much about it but after your research let me know if you'd be interested in buying it.

Just something to think about if you are planning more kids, is will you need to buy another stroller then. I have the mothercare My3, which is "ok", its not awful but I wouldn't rave, I bought it because everyone told me that after the first 6 months you just use an umbrella stroller anyway, I have used my umbrella stroller once so in retrospect I could have spent a lot more money on my pram, personally I love a 3 wheeler, i think you need one if you do anything outside of going to the mall. Anyway one good thing about the my3 is that you can attach a buggie board (which is quite possibly the best invention known to mother-kind), on the back crossbar, and fold the pram down without having to clip it off (which is important). My son is 3 and we still use the buggie board all the time, I can't imagine not having it, so if more kids are on the cards, maybe look for a model that is buggie board compatible?.

TDB - Oh I forgot to vent about the basket!!! Silly thing it's just useless. :D Yes I would love the Xplory too. If only it wasn't that expensive sigh. Lol. Thank you, I will check out the Yoyo. Where did you buy it from? I just saw it on mumzworld.com but I would love to "test drive" it first. :) Mrsg1 and Flydiver11 - Thank you, I'd definitely check out the Bee as well. I saw it in Just Kidding but never really paid much attention because I had my heart on the Buzz. Little did I know. Lol. I'd rather stay away from the Quinny now so I think Zapp will not be an option. :) Swissroll - Thank you, I just googled Sola and it looks good. So I will check that out too. This time I'll study everything before buying so I won't have any regret anymore. Thank you very much ladies. Really appreciate all the suggestions. Ta xxx

We have mamas and papas SOLA and we love it, can be used from birth until toddler years, can be used with Maxi cosi cabrio with the adapters. It also ticks all the boxes regarding weight, storage, big basket, easy to fold and very good value for money, highly recommended (been using it for 22 months :) HTH

Along with TDB I am also a pramaholic. Can't help myself. My friends laugh at how many I've bought now. LOVE my Bee, and highly recommend it. YOYO is great for space, but very low seatback, which doesn't allow my toddler to sleep in it, and the sun shade isn't brilliant. Good for short trips or travel though. The Zapp is great for travel too, if you want to take our capsule and it fits. Good luck, but be warned.... Pram shopping can become addictive!

I also brought the buzz and hated it- sold it on dubizzle when DS was 3 months and brought the bee! Absolutely love it! So easy for travelling and great for day to day use as well. Good luck :)

Hi AnonDubai. Thank you for the suggestion. I googled Mothercare Jive. Unfortunately, it's for 6 months+ and my DS is only 3 months.

I have a Mothercare Spin, which I think is supposed to be similar to the Quinny. It was ok for the first year but it is big and so confusing to put into the sitting position. My DS is now 1 and I got the Mothercare Jive. 275 dirhams, lightweight, small, and perfect for my son now...
