Hi there...I've just spoken to someone at Kidsfirst therapy center about my LO and they recommended I get a developmental assessment with Dr Sara. Have any of you seen her for suspected developmental delay?

Thanks ladies...I went to see Dr Sara and she actually confirmed my concerns instead of brushing them off like everyone else. She's planning to do some formal assessments with some research based standardised tests, so was really impressed. I hope it turns out to be something simple though that LO will grow out of...

Hi Sophia, My son was assessed by Dr. Sara. She's a developmental pediatrician and I also see her for general stuff and vaccinations etc. We really get on and she even texts and takes phone calls. Her follow up is amazing and after taking on her advice I've seen such improvement in my son's development. She gets regular updates from the therapists and they then confer and modify his therapy accordingly.

Hi Sophia, I'm not sure about a paediatrician but I know there is a paeds physio named Nicola at City Hospital who could help with treatment once you have had the medical assessment.
