some countries require that you have an outbound ticket. Nearly every country in the world requires this for non-natives, unless they are legally entitled to live there long-term. Just to add that we have flown out of Dubai back to the UK on a one-way ticket numerous times and never had a problem. Outstanding loans are not an issue as long as you are not in arrears or default. You will only be prevented from leaving if you have had a specific travel ban placed on you.

It depends on where you are going. For example if you are going back to your home country, you won't need a return ticket but if you are going to visit another place, some countries require that you have an outbound ticket.

We always leave Dubai on our return leg of tickets. As they are much cheaper starting in the uk. We have car loans and have never had a problem exiting Dubai without having a ticket to return in place. If the loans are in arrears then you would have a problem obviously they are not

absolutely - though its cheaper to buy a return and just not make the flight :\: Actually, Emirates had a good offer. And it's even cheaper to buy a return from UK for example.

I have travelled out of Abu Dhabi with a one way ticket several times. I am not sure if it would be different to Dubai
