Thank you so much for all your helpful tips! I booked an appointment at the wedding shop for Saturday and will keep you updated. Regards, Jen How did you go, did you find your perfect dress, or still need to look more? My friend ended up going to a seamstress and is getting hers made.

The best thing to do is go and try dresses on. I went to the wedding shop today and the dresses my friend tried on we're all beautiful, light and beachy feel but she didn't like any. Everyone has different tastes, best to go look. Good luck.

Not sure how you feel about getting the dress tailored ... if so i would highly recommend Buttons and Bows tailoring in Dubai ! I love their work and quality of service ... Give them a call they have a website and i think they are also on facebook :)

If that's the style you're going for I highly recommend House of Moirai! Seriously, her work is absolutely amazing and I'm currently working with her myself for my own bespoke dress

congratulations on your upcoming marriage! hope you find the dream dress you're looking for... plenty of choices available... also look through some high street brands as they often have simpler flowy white dresses that could pass off as a wedding dress... ideally go through some pictures online and take these with you when you go to the bridal stores so that the hostesses can narrow down the items they show you... it can be quite overwhelming otherwise if u need any help with the planning for the event (florists, decor, gifts, photographers, etc.) give me a shout out here... would love to help

I am heading to The Wedding Shop tomorrow with my neighbour who is getting married on a beach next month. I will reply back with what its like. Their website looks promising - http://theweddingshop.ae/ Not sure how you feel about buying online but a friend of mine bought a simple/plainer looking wedding dress from jjshouse and it was great quality, I also had a friend buy 2 formal dresses from lightinthebox which again were awesome quality. I almost bought my wedding dress from lightinthebox as I figured if it comes and its bad I haven't spent a fortune on it. The delivery was to Australia I'm not sure if they deliver here. Another option is to go to a tailor and take a few pictures of what you want, there are quite a few threads recommending tailors if you use the search function.

Dear ladies, I will get married soon and I am searching for a nice beach wedding dress. It shouldn't be pompous, less fabric, maybe made of lace and hippie style. Do you have an idea where I can find smth like that? Or what are the biggest and best bridal shops in Dubai. Your kind support would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much! Have a lovely day and warmest regards, Jen :)
