HI - You need to take tax advice from an accountant in UK. There are no international tax specialists in UAE. Even the larger accountancy firm such as KPMG in Dubai will probably tell you to take advice in UK. The reason seems to be if they give you wrong advice about Uk tax in Dubai you cannot get compensation. There was a similar thread about Canadian tax and people answered the same - ie. get advice back in Canada.
hi all.
does anyone know the rules around bringing money home to the uk for an expat working in Dubai? I want to know does the money get taxed when you bring it home to the UK ?
or if no one knows the answer - does anyone know a good international income tax specialist to ask the question from ?
