got my maid visa... but now she's not able to exit out of nepal!
i'm in such a fix... wonderin if anyone out there is in a similar situation or can help...
i found a highly recommended nepali maid (who was working for a family here for 8 years) and is currently in Nepal... got her housemaid visa processed through the DNRD and have all the legal documents such as contract, health insurance, etc... and sent this across to her to be able to buy a ticket and come but the travel agents in nepal are not issuing her a ticket saying that there is a ban on her travelling to middle east...
i called up the nepalese embassy here and they said that the ban is there and valid
i don't know why the DNRD let us issue a visa for her if such a ban exists...
no i have no idea what to do... somebody recommended asking her to come from delhi (india) instead of kathmandu (nepal)... wondering if anyone has done this recently and would recommend it...
your thoughts ladies???
